We're delighted to announce that Aveda's Global 24-Hour Hair Cut-A-Thon set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® Title for the "Most Money Raised for Charity in 24 Hours by Haircuts"

On what could be the best hair day ever, this past April 22 (Earth Day) Aveda raised US $220,000 to benefit clean water causes during its 24-hour global hair-cutting marathon.

By surpassing US $75,000* Aveda set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title.

Scissors around the world snipped at record speeds on Earth Day as stylists from Aveda Salons, Institutes and Experience Centers volunteered their hair cutting expertise in exchange for a client’s donation in an exciting 24-hour global cut-a-thon.

The mission? To raise funds to support clean water projects around the world.

Congratulations to all the participants for this stunning achievement that supports a great cause.
