Sal Misseri, a graduate of Brown Aveda Institute in Mentor, recently won The North American Hairstylist of the Year Award in the Newcomer Category.
Misseri, who is artistic director for the Ladies & Gentlemen Chicago salon, was up for awards in two separate categories: Contemporary Classic as well as Newcomer of the Year.
The Brown Aveda Institute and Ladies & Gentlemen salons in Mentor, Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, and Chicago are all owned by husband and wife entrepreneurs Edward and Nancy Brown.
Assisting Misseri with a photo shoot for the competition were Ladies & Gentlemen stylist and colorist Jennifer Roskey and Susan Partin from Ladies & Gentlemen corporate headquarters in Mentor.
“Sal and the team will be hoping for another win in 2013,” Edward Brown said.
