John Robert’s Spa accepts cosmetology students while they are in their education program at cosmetology school to receive paid advanced education to jump start their career into the John Robert's Spa apprenticeship program. They assist experienced stylists and earn a guaranteed hourly pay plus gratuity. Their part-time salon assistant opportunity allows students to receive education in product knowledge, basic blowdrying, professionalism, customer service, and basic styling with John Robert's Spa educators. Not only does this program help develop incredible beginning technical skills, strong guest service, and excellent retail recommendation abilities, but also allows you to learn the John Robert's Spa culture and get to know their outstanding team.
John Robert’s Spa also accepts post-cosmetology college graduates to receive paid advanced education to take their skills from Cosmetology School to Behind the chair effortlessly. They assist experienced stylists and earn a guaranteed hourly pay plus gratuity. Our comprehensive, 9-12-month program develops incredible technical skills, strong guest service, and excellent retail recommendation abilities. John Robert’s Apprentices are fully licensed cosmetologists who assist the John Robert’s Designers to observe the salon flow and receive a mix of hands-on and theory time taught by the JR Education Team, Artistic Directors, and Aveda certification classes. At the end of the program, each Designer chooses which JR location they would like to make their permanent career home.
