The Admission & Placement Team Leader is responsible for the overall recruitment activities related to student enrollment, and retention at Brown Aveda Institute in Strongsville.
This position is responsible for the assurance that the school achieves all major educational goals, objectives, and maintains all standards set forth by The Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board, NACCAS and Brown Aveda Institute.
Description of Duties
Makes contact with student leads via phone and email and sets up interview appointments
Meets with prospects; conducts informational interview and gives Institute tour
Insures follow-up tasks are completed including enrollment checklist
Sets appointment and conducts contract signing of new enrollee
Organizes Philanthropy events that include two Cut-a-Thons annually and the Recycled Costume Fashion Show which is an annual event.
Plan and direct special events, consumer clinics, student celebrations, orientations
Represents the Institute at Career and College Fairs throughout the state of Ohio
Contacts local High school and Middle school guidance counselors to arrange and conduct presentations to the students
Conducts exit interview with each BAI graduating student
Assists BAI graduates with job placement by apprising them of opportunities
Conducts a follow-up with each graduate and their employer through use of Job Placement survey
Responsible for updating Facebook with job opportunities for graduates
Responsible for documentation as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications
High school diploma
Strong sales, phone and customer service experience required; some recruiting a plus
Previous experience related in the cosmetology industry a plus
Exceptional verbal and written skills
Strong organizational skills
Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, or weekends
Licensed in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Esthetics, or Massage Therapy preferred
