They are looking for 3-4 AVEDA students or graduates trained in both makeup and hair interested in doing test photography shoots for growing their portfolio.
This opportunity can be coupled with a full-time position or internship. The objective is to participate in 2 photography shoots per month.
Responsibilities:
Develop a productive relationship with a photographer acting as one team, participate in photography shoots in a studio and on location
Expand on the idea proposed by the photographer, propose own ideas with clear artistic vision and execute the look’s full stylistic components
Be able to coordinate the makeup/hair with stylistic decision for wardrobe, location and concept of the shoot
Know current industry trends in fashion and beauty and be able to integrate them appropriately
Be organized, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion and participate in shoot preparation process as needed
In the event of establishing a successful working relationship, the candidate(s) will be invited to paid commercial bookings and magazine assignments.
