We're Hiring an Inventory Coordinator at Our Strongsville School

The Inventory Coordinator counts inventory for official records, maintains logs of al products and supplies. Checks inventory against computerized records. Reports any discrepancies. Keeps all inventory maintained and organized.

Illustrative duties of the Inventory Coordinator may include, but are not restricted to, one or more of the following:

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, check, and put away all incoming orders.

  • Track all invoices and order forms, submitting them to Mentor School for expensing.

  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile against computerized records.

  • Maintain all storage areas in a clean, organized, and efficient manner.

  • Re-organize and improve storage systems as needed.

  • Set up and maintain retail promotions and product launches.

  • Student kit orders- monitor stock levels, work with admissions for enrollment orders, build and pass out kits

  • Keep kit forms up to date

  • Communicate effectively with staff, managers, and other team members.

  • Attend marketing and promotional meetings as required.

  • Conduct mid-year and end-of-year audits.

  • Develop, implement, and enhance systems for efficient inventory management.

  • Collaborate closely with Aveda Advisors, Inventory Team Members, Managers, and the Marketing Team.

  • Assist other departments when necessary.

  • Support events and meetings with inventory or supplies.

  • Run errands and complete off-site tasks as assigned.

  • Provide assistance to other Brown Aveda Institute locations when applicable.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas (e.g., dispensary, office area, storage room).

  • Dust and refresh retail shelves as needed.

  • Dispose of trash and cardboard at the end of each shift.

  • Assist guests with retail purchases and product knowledge when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.

  • Microsoft Office certification preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Proficiency in mathematics and data entry.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.

  • Ability to talk and hear clearly.

  • Clear vision at close and mid-range distances.

  • Color vision (ability to distinguish between colors).

  • Manual dexterity to operate general office equipment (phone, computer, printer, scanner, copy machine, fax).

  • Comfortable working in an office environment (controlled climate).

  • Exposure to hair products and chemicals.
