The Admissions Assistant will attract, retain and develop applicants to Casal AVEDA Institute. Meet business goal objectives in compliance with all standards set forth by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, NACCAS and Casal AVEDA Institute.

Description of Duties:

  • Follow up with leads via phone, text and email and set up interview appointments- tracking them in SALESFORCE.

  • Conducts informal interviews and gives institute tours.

  • Assists in making appointments and conducts collecting of Admissions requirements and contract signing of new enrollments or re-enrollments.

  • Assists in participation of Career Fairs, High School visits and Salon visits.

  • Participates in the organizing and participation of Career Fairs, Graduation Ceremony, Meet and Greet/Orientation, Holiday Open House, Annual Scholarship Competition and any other Admissions event that is scheduled.

  • Assists in completing follow-up tasks including Enrollment Check List.

  • Assists graduates with job placement by apprising them opportunities.

  • Assists in follow up contact with each graduate and their employer through use of Job Placement survey, enters in SMART.

  • Assists in social media postings concerning Admissions/ creating videos for Admissions events.

  • Assisting in documentation as necessary and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: High School Degree.

  • Professional experience in a sales or Customer Service role required.

  • Recruiting experience and salon/cosmetology experience a plus.

  • Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Cosmetology license preferred

  • Communication and Interactions: Daily interaction with prospective students and their families and all levels of staff.
